Rob Strang

Over the past 8 years, Rob has worked in a variety of roles for charities and schools alike.  Most recently working in an inner-city primary school, he has varied experience across Key Stage 2 and in other management roles.  Rob’s current responsibilities include year group leader, NQT mentor and deputy maths leader.

Rob currently works closely with the Central Maths Hub as a Mastery Specialist, working with a cluster of local schools to help develop teaching for mastery approaches.  He has delivered training for NQTs and has provided support for a number of local schools, through the TSA.

Rob also has a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of Oxford, delivers lectures to PGCE students at Exeter University and most recently worked with White Rose Maths helping to create resources currently being used in schools around the country.

Rob’s area of specialism as an SLE is Maths.
