As a Teaching School Alliance we are firmly committed to supporting other schools as part of a self-improving, school-led system. School to School support (S2S), which may be commissioned by individual schools, Academy Trusts, the Birmingham Education Partnership (BEP) or a Local Authority, is a significant and fundamental part of our work as a teaching school, and we are pleased to have a great many System Leaders (those with a formal designation and those without) working with us to support other schools.

We support leaders, teachers and support staff in all types of schools, those which are vulnerable, perhaps in an Ofsted category of concern or requiring improvement as well as good and outstanding schools seeking external validation of their excellent practice or looking to improve further in a particular aspect of provision.  We can offer a wide range of bespoke school to school support, ranging from classroom support to carrying out a joint work scrutiny and moderation of pupil books; from undertaking a subject review and developing an action plan for support to leading or being a member of a team for a whole-school evaluative review; from providing strategic leadership and management support to challenge and senior and middle leaders at another school to brokering arrangements for longer term senior leadership.  The work is very varied and always developing further as our system leaders work flexibly to meet the needs of client schools.  All our school to school support is impact-driven, negotiated to meet the needs of the client school and quality assured by the teaching school team.

If you would like to commission a review or support for your school, please contact us, either by telephone or email: greettsa@greet.bham.sch.uk

We - and all the teaching schools in Birmingham - are part of the Association of Central Teaching Schools (ACTS) and follow a city-wide agreed charging policy for all deployments.
